I also speak Spanish functionally, but never having actually lived in an hispanophone country, I don’t really know my hispanico personality, although I’m sure it’s a lot more laid back and fun. :-). I asked a friend about my accent in Spanish. It’s the same as in French : from somewhere else; although, on the phone, people think I’m Martinican. And when I speak English in Yarmouth, I get the same comment. Siempre de fuera….
